Charge from marketplaces for sellers from Ukraine is canceled

Ukrposhta managed to agree with the world's marketplaces about the cancellation of the charge for sellers from Ukraine.

Etsy, eBay, Joom were the first to join the initiative, followed by Wish and Shopify. Besides, each of them introduced its own bonuses for Ukrainians.

  • Wish returned the monthly charge in February to all sellers from Ukraine and canceled all charges for Ukrainian merchants for a period of 6 months.
  • Shopify will allocate funds for humanitarian aid through a partner Flexport.
  • Prior to the settlement period, Joom made a payment to all merchants and assured that no fines or pessimisms would be applied to Ukrainian stores. The marketplace also temporarily reduced the commission for sellers from 15% to 0%.
  • Etsy has “started from zero” the sellers' accounts in February and provides instructions on temporary “vacations for shops”.
  • eBay has implemented a policy whereby sellers will not receive negative customers’ feedback until March 20. Besides, Global eBay has started raising money to support Ukraine, according to which the marketplace will double each donation to 10 thousand US dollars made by the company's employees. eBay has also updated the accelerator for Ukrainians and is ready to support medium-sized businesses with a range of 100 products (3 months without charge) and small business (200 free listings).

We are grateful for the marketplaces and Ukrposhta for the support of Ukrainian entrepreneurs.

We encourage you to renew work abroad and develop your business!
