Canada’s largest retail chain starts selling Ukrainian products

Ukrainian Product Distribution (UPD) and the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada have reached an agreement to supply well-known Ukrainian brands to the shelves of Canada’s largest food retailer - the Loblaws chain.
The first shipments of Ukrainian goods to Canada were shipped at the end of 2024. As of today, the chain offers more than 50 product items, including chocolate, tea, coffee, canned goods, sweets, cookies, and juices, according to UPD.
Currently, Ukrainian products are available in over 100 Loblaws stores, but the company is open to considering both expanding its geographic reach and increasing the range of product items in the future. As for supply volumes, these will be determined by demand and the market’s growth potential.
Additionally, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Canada, the first shelf dedicated for Ukrainian goods was opened in a Loblaws supermarket in Toronto. This shelf represents trademarks such as Nash Sik, Yogoda, Sweet World, Veres, Nizhyn, Kava zi Lvova, Spell, Galka, and Kyivkhlib.
