Bulgarian Parliament has canceled restrictions on Ukrainian grain

Bulgarian Parliament has decided to support the lifting of the ban on imports of wheat, corn, rapeseeds and sunflower from Ukraine after September, 15. A total of 124 legislators supported the decision, 69 – were against it, 8 – abstained. But the Government of Bulgaria announced that it will request additional financial support from the European Commission in order to compensate the losses of Bulgarian agricultural producers, especially sunflower producers. At the same time Poland insists on the longest possible embargo on Ukrainian agricultural imports.
