An audit in remote format has begun in Ukraine by the competent authority of Great Britain – the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (DEFRA) – aimed at opening the British market for the export of Ukrainian beef.
The purpose of the audit is to assess the Ukrainian system of state control over the production, processing and export of beef, in particular compliance with requirements for animal health, product traceability and its safety.
The report on the results of the audit will serve as the basis for further negotiations between the competent authorities of Ukraine and Great Britain on the approval of veterinary certificates and will open new opportunities for cooperation with other countries.
