Almost half of the companies opened by foreigners in Poland are Ukrainian ones

45% of all foreign companies that opened in Poland last year were registered by Ukrainians.

From January to September last year, Ukrainians opened 10 200 individual entrepreneurs and 3 600 companies with Ukrainian capital in Poland.

The share of these companies in the total number of all new enterprises in Poland increased to 8,5% in September (for comparison: before the war it was less than 1%).

It is also specified that more than 50% of companies that registered in Poland did so in order to continue the business they conducted in Ukraine. About two-thirds said they intended to stay in the Polish market regardless of the results of the war.
