Chinese importers have made large purchases of fodder corn in Ukraine over the last two weeks. The interlocutors could not name the exact volumes, but some of them said they amounted to several hundred thousand tons. A source in the Ukrainian government also confirmed corn sales to China.
Importers in China have bought about 10-12 loads of Ukrainian Panamax corn for shipment in November/December.
