In January 2024 Ukraine's turnover with other countries of the world amounted to 8,5 billion US dollars. This is 7% more than in the same period of 2023. This was reported by the press service of the State Customs Service of Ukraine. Thus, during January 2024, Ukraine has imported goods in the amount of 5,1 billion US dollars, and exported goods in the amount of 3,4 billion US dollars.

The Chinese authorities have agreed to a phytosanitary protocol that will allow the import of peas from Ukraine. This was announced by the President of the Council of Bean Producers and Consumers of Ukraine, Antonina Skliarenko, during her speech at the Agro Ukraine Summit. She expressed hope that now farmers will be interested in increasing the area of sowing and production of peas. The protocol is currently being processed by the State Consumer Service.
