306 people's deputies voted for a law that will regulate the safety of materials that come into contact with food products

Implementation of the Law will allow establish single rules in the sphere of production, circulation and use of materials and items that are directly or indirectly come into contact with food products.

The version of this law is prepared on the basis of the requirements of more than 10 acts of the European Union, and thereby creates a legislative basis for the further implementation of the EU Association Agreement.

The Law refers to such materials and items as paper and cardboard, plastic, printing inks, regenerated cellulose, silicone, textiles, varnishes and coatings, wax, wood, glues, ceramics, cork, rubber, glass, ion exchange resins, metals and their alloys, active and intellectual materials and objects, as well as others.
