Representatives of Ukraine and Moldova signed a cooperation plan between the border agencies of both countries.

At the Palanka-Mayaki-Udobne checkpoint, the head of the State Border Service, Major General Serhii Deineko, and the head of the General Inspectorate of the Border Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Ruslan Galushka, conducting a working meeting.

The main issues of the parties' work were the discussion of the results of the services of the departments of both countries at the common state border, the exchange of information affecting the protection of the state border, ways of countering illegal activities.

As a result of the meeting, the heads of the border agencies signed a plan for the development of cooperation between the State Border Service of Ukraine and the Border Police of the Republic of Moldova for 2024-2025.

Moldova plans to send the first batch of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in 2024. The total cost of this aid, in the form of material values and other equipment, is 4,9 million lei, which exceeds 250 thousand euros.

Among the goods to be handed over are 19 power stations, blood transfusion equipment, nearly 80 000 protective masks, hand sanitizers and more than 50 000 canned pork and fish products.
