Ukraine has resumed sea exports of urea. For the first time in the last 7 years, a batch of products manufactured by the OSTCHEM group was shipped through the Chornomorsk port to international buyers in the Mediterranean region. The main destinations are Italy and Turkey.
The total volume of supplies is about 21 thousand tons. Among the buyers of Ukrainian urea are large international companies, including the American Nitron Group and the South Korean Samsung C&T Corporation.
Sea exports have resumed amid the gradual stabilization of logistics chains and growing interest from international traders in Ukrainian products. OSTCHEM also sells part of it to European industrial consumers via overland logistics routes.
The company is also negotiating new export supplies with a number of international traders and industrial consumers.
