Ukraine is losing foreign currency revenue: dairy export decreased

Ukraine in April 2026 reduced the export of dairy products by 14% compared to March – to 10.75 thousand tons.

At the same time, foreign currency revenue from supplies decreased by 11% and amounted to 31.44 million dollars. In annual terms, the indicators also worsened: export volumes fell by 12%, and revenues – by 17% compared to April 2025. For 4 months of 2026, Ukraine exported 41.31 thousand tons of dairy products worth 112.91 million dollars, which is 5% and 14% less, respectively.

The largest share in the export structure in April was occupied by condensed milk and cream – 26%, ice cream – 22%, cheeses – 17% and butter – 15%. At the same time, growth in supplies was recorded only in the segments of fermented milk products and ice cream.
