Export of flour and groats from Ukraine decreased, pasta – increased

In July – April of the 2025/26 marketing year, Ukraine reduced the export of flour, groats and grain processing products, while supplies of pasta products and couscous showed growth.

For ten months of the 2025/26 MY, wheat flour exports amounted to 52.6 thousand tons, which is less compared to 54.6 thousand tons for the same period of the previous season.

Supplies of other types of flour decreased even more significantly – to 1.4 thousand tons against 4.2 thousand tons a year earlier.

The export of groats and pellets also decreased – to 21.8 thousand tons compared to 27.4 thousand tons in the 2024/25 MY.

The volumes of exports of grain processed in other ways amounted to 49.6 thousand tons, which is also below the figure of the last season, which reached 53 thousand tons.

Bran exports remained almost at the level of the previous year – 308.2 thousand tons against 308.5 thousand tons.

At the same time, pasta products and couscous showed positive dynamics. Their exports increased to 25.2 thousand tons compared to 21.8 thousand tons for the same period of the 2024/25 marketing year.
