In January 2026, Ukraine imported 1.4 thousand tonnes of lard, pork fat and poultry fat – 1.8 times more than in the same period last year.

The purchase of this product abroad in the first month of 2026 cost $1.6 million – 1.7 times more than in January 2025.

The suppliers of lard, pork fat and poultry fat to Ukraine in January this year were Poland (54.7%), Germany (43.9%) and Denmark (1.4%).
