Poland buys more than half of Ukraine’s cucumber exports

In 2025 Ukraine increased cucumber exports and reduced external supplies of tomatoes.

Yes, the volume of Ukrainian cucumber exports last year grew by 19.7% – to 3.76 thousand tonnes. The most active buyers were Poland (54.5%), Estonia (36.4%) and Moldova (7.5%). The year before, this top three remained the same, but with a different distribution of shares: Estonia accounted for 50.6% of the supplied volumes, Poland – 32.6%, Moldova – 9.3%.

At the same time, tomato shipments to foreign markets in 2025 amounted to 553 tonnes, which is 31.2% less than in 2024. Last year they were bought by Moldova (61.5%), Poland (34.1%) and Romania (1.1%).
