In January–November of this year, Ukraine decreased exports of manganese ore by 60.8% compared to the same period last year – to 17.592 thousand tons, although shipments were intensified from August to November.
According to statistics published by the State Customs Service (SCS), while exports over the first seven months of 2025 amounted to 2.977 thousand tons, in August exports more than doubled to 5.037 thousand tons, in September it was 1.725 thousand tons, in October – 3.993 thousand tons, and in November – 3.860 thousand tons.
In monetary terms, exports for the 11 months of 2025 fell by 56.7% compared to the same period in 2024 – to $2.843 million. At the same time, the main exports were directed to Slovakia (99.02% of supplies in monetary terms) and Poland (0.98%).
During this period, the country imported 37.006 thousand tons worth $5.546 million from Ghana, with all supplies occurring in November.
