Ukraine spent a third more on mollusk imports over 11 months

In January–November 2025, Ukraine imported 12.5% more mollusks compared to the same period in 2024: 5.4 thousand tons.

Spending on importing mollusks from abroad increased by 33.3% compared to January–November 2024, reaching $23.6 million.

The largest suppliers of mollusks to the Ukrainian market during the 11 months of this year were China (30.3%), Chile (22%), and France (15.4%).

Exports of domestic mollusks over the 11 months of this year amounted to 1.2 thousand tons, which is 9.1% more than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, exports grew by 29.8% – to $7.4 million.

The main buyers of Ukrainian mollusks during the 11 months of 2025 were Lithuania (64.2%), Spain (23%), and Romania (7.5%).
