Export revenue from whey rose by 17.5% over ten months

In January–October 2025, Ukraine exported 13.8 thousand tonnes of whey, which is 16.4% less than in the same period last year.

However, in value terms, whey exports increased by 17.5% compared to the ten-month period of 2024, reaching $13.4 million.

Since the beginning of this year, the largest buyers of Ukrainian whey were Poland (34.4%), China (27.9%) and Jordan (8.1%).

At the same time, whey imports declined: in January–October 2025 they fell by 6% to 4.7 thousand tonnes.

In value terms, imports amounted to $9.3 million, which is 5.7% more than in the first ten months of 2024.

The largest suppliers of whey to Ukraine during January–October 2025 were Poland (36.2%), Sweden (31.8%) and Germany (17.7%).
