Ukraine exports soybean meal at record pace

In November of the current season, Ukraine’s soybean meal exports set a new monthly record, reaching 158 thousand tons. This is 26% higher than in October and 5% above the previous high (150.5 thousand tons in July of this year).

The main destination for soybean meal exports was the European Union, which accounted for 71% of total exports. Additionally, about 16 thousand tons were shipped to Turkey and 11 thousand tons to Egypt.

Furthermore, after a one-year break, approximately 1 thousand tons were exported to China – this being only the second instance of Ukrainian soybean meal shipments to that destination.

In total, during September–November of the 2025/26 marketing year, 391 thousand tons of soybean meal have already been exported from the country, more than doubling the volume of the same period last season.

Amid growing demand for Ukrainian meal from the European Union, export demand prices on DAP-western border terms rose during October–November to the highest level since the beginning of the current year, reaching 365–385 $/t.
