25% more agricultural products shipped by rail through western borders

The average daily volume of grain cargo and meal shipments through western railway border crossings in November amounted to 169 cars. This is 34 cars, or 25%, higher than in October.

The largest number of grain cars in November passed through the Ukrainian-Hungarian border crossings – 48.2 cars per day. Compared to October, this figure increased by 24.9 cars.

The volume of grain shipments to Romania increased by 8.1 cars, reaching 11.4 cars per day in November.

Through the Ukrainian-Slovak border crossings, an average of 21.1 grain cars per day passed in November. This is 8.1 cars more than in October.

At the same time, the average daily number of cars transferred to Poland in November decreased. The figure stands at 7.3 cars per day. The decrease is 3.8 cars.
