Export of sheep and goats decreased by 18% in three quarters

In January–September 2025, Ukraine exported 719 tonnes of live sheep and goats, which is 18% less than in the same period last year.

In monetary terms, the export of sheep and goats decreased by 15.6% compared to the figure for the three quarters of 2024 – to $844 thousand.

The lion’s share of domestic sheep and goats during the three quarters of this year was purchased by Lebanon (91.6%). Another buyer was Libya (8.4%).
