In August, Ukraine exported 174,000 tons of meal and cake via railway, a 17.9% increase compared to last year but a 12.2% decrease from July this year.

Of this volume, 68% was transported to ports, and 32% to western border crossings.

Over the first eight months of this year, 1.828 million tons of meal and cake were transported, a 3% increase compared to the same period last year.

In contrast, vegetable oil transport shows a negative trend. In August, 73,000 tons were transported, down 39% from July and 36% from August last year. Of this, 40% went to seaports, and 60% to western border crossings.

From January to August, 1.08 million tons of oil were transported, a 13% decrease compared to the same period last year.
