New export opportunities: 100 Ukrainian companies receive authorized economic operator status

In Ukraine, 100 companies have obtained Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) status, including manufacturers, exporters, importers, and freight forwarders. This enhances the competitiveness of Ukrainian businesses on the global market, promotes export growth, and attracts new trading partners.

Five domestic companies have received both types of AEO authorizations: “simplification of procedures” (AEO-S) and “safety and reliability confirmation” (AEO-B), bringing Ukraine closer to potential agreements on mutual recognition with other countries that have AEO programs.

The AEO status signifies a high level of trust from customs authorities and grants businesses access to benefits and simplified customs procedures. Both legal entities and individual entrepreneurs (FOPs) can obtain this certificate.

To receive AEO authorization, a company must submit an application and a self-assessment questionnaire to the State Customs Service. Upon approval, the State Customs Service issues an AEO certificate.
