Ukraine has banned the import of meat products from the United States due to avian influenza and animals from Cambodia due to lumpy skin disease

Starting August 4, Ukraine restricted the import of animal products from the United States following the detection of avian influenza. The ban includes hatching eggs, poultry, and poultry products, except for those that have undergone processing.

The restrictions apply to the following U.S. states: South Dakota, North Dakota, Illinois, California, New Jersey, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Arizona.

Additionally, from August 5, Ukraine imposed a ban on the import of animals, their reproductive material, hides, milk, and dairy products from Cambodia due to the detection of contagious lumpy skin disease. Exceptions are made for products that have been processed.
