Ukraine exported 24.4 thousand tons of honey in the first half of 2025

According to the State Customs Service, Ukraine sold 24.4 thousand tons of honey to foreign markets in January–June 2025, earning $53.261 million from honey exports. 

In total, in 2024, Ukraine sold 85.8 thousand tons of honey to foreign markets, with companies earning $166.953 million from honey sales, according to the State Customs Service. 

The European Union has set a duty-free import quota for Ukrainian honey at 3.5 thousand tons until the end of 2025. This means that after the quota is exhausted (7/12), a 17.3% tariff will be applied to Ukrainian honey imports. 

An updated free trade agreement is set to take effect in 2026.
