The American market continues to lead in the structure of Ukrainian processed crude iron exports: in the first half of 2025, over 77% of the foreign exchange revenue from the sale of this product came from the USA. 

In January–June 2025, Ukraine increased crude iron export volumes by 47.5% in physical terms, reaching 883.2 thousand tons compared to 598.9 thousand tons in the same period of the previous year. In monetary terms, exports increased by 54.6%, reaching $349.4 million. 

The main destinations for Ukrainian crude iron exports in the first half of 2025 were the USA (77.36% of export revenue), Italy (11.96%) and Turkey (4.91%).
