Last year, Ukraine exported 100,000 tons of bioethanol to the European market, representing 1/16 of the Commonwealth countries’ import structure.

In total, the European Union imported 1.6 million tons of bioethanol. Ukraine ranks 6th or 7th among exporting countries, depending on the year.

Pakistan holds the first place among countries exporting bioethanol to the EU, followed by Brazil in second and the USA in third.
