In April 2025, Ukraine exported approximately 1,880 tons of large-horned cattle (LHC) in live weight, a 24% decrease compared to the previous month but a 164% increase compared to April last year.

Revenue from exported animals reached $5.43 million (+9% compared to March and +357% compared to the previous year). From January to April 2025, Ukraine exported 7,090 tons of LHC in live weight (+120%) for a total of $15.96 million (+186%).

From January to April 2025, Ukraine shipped 44.9 tons of chilled beef to foreign markets (-93%) valued at $270,100 (-93%) compared to the previous year.

The volume of frozen beef exports in April increased by 20% compared to March and by 44% compared to the previous year, reaching 1,810 tons. Revenue amounted to nearly $7.17 million (+27% compared to March and +35% compared to the previous year). Since the beginning of the year, Ukraine exported 6,050 tons of frozen beef (+18%) valued at $22.92 million (+4%).
