UZ transported petroleum products for the first time on the Lithuania – Poland – Ukraine route

A subsidiary of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, UZ Cargo Poland, in partnership with LTG Cargo Polska Sp. z oo, transported oil products along the Lithuania - Poland - Ukraine route.

Thus, UZ Cargo Poland is for the first time transporting petroleum products as a licensed EU railway carrier on a specified route through the territory of Poland in combination with the provision of forwarding services involving wagons owned by JSC Ukrzaliznytsia.

Previously, UZ Cargo Poland received a license to carry out transportation activities from UTK, a safety certificate from ERA in accordance with the directives of the European Parliament and the Council, and concluded relevant contracts with PKP PLK SA.

The company’s next ambitious plan is to expand the geography of cargo transportation between Ukraine and the EU to other countries: Romania, Hungary, and Slovakia.
