The value of trade between Ukraine and the EU through the “Solidarity Paths” reached €211 billion in March

The total value of trade through the Solidarity Routes between Ukraine and the European Union as of May 2022 is estimated at approximately 211 billion euros.

Of the above amount, about 61 billion euros are Ukrainian exports. The total value of imports to Ukraine is estimated at about 150 billion euros.

In March 2025, about 85% of Ukrainian imports (compared to about 15% via the Black Sea) and about 50% of Ukrainian exports of non-agricultural products (compared to about 50% via the Black Sea) were carried via the Solidarity Routes. About 20% of grain, oilseed and related goods were transported for export via the Solidarity Routes – about 80% of their volume was exported via the Black Sea.

According to Ukrainian customs, Ukraine has exported about 179 million tons of goods through the Solidarity Route since May 2022. Of this amount, about 91 million tons of Ukrainian agricultural products (including about 85 million tons of Ukrainian grain, oilseeds, and related goods) and about 88 million tons of non-agricultural goods, including ore, steel, and related goods, were exported.

In addition, since May 2022, Solidarity Paths have allowed Ukraine to import about 74.5 million tons of goods, such as fuel, vehicles, fertilizers, as well as military and humanitarian aid.
