In Ukraine, within two months of the online portal for international routes being operational, carriers submitted 400 applications for opening, extending, or amending routes.

The Ministry of Development has already approved decisions to open 57 new routes, extend 14 routes, and amend 15 routes. Additionally, 20 routes have received approval from destination countries.

The online portal significantly speeds up the route approval process. For example, in 2024, the ministry opened 257 international routes, while in just two months of the portal’s operation, 250 applications for opening routes were submitted.
