Austria has supported the Grain From Ukraine food initiative with a contribution of 2 million euros.

Minister of Agrarian Policy V. Koval discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector and the development of trade relations with Austria’s Ambassador to Ukraine, Arad Benkö. He also expressed gratitude to Austrian partners for their contribution to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s Grain From Ukraine initiative.

One of the priorities of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is European integration, and he outlined the steps already taken toward EU integration. They discussed the need for joint efforts at the European Commission level to ensure the export of Ukrainian agricultural products. The Minister suggested considering the mechanism of insurance of agricultural trade operations between Ukraine and Austria against military risks.
