In 2024, Ukraine purchased 40% less lard abroad

According to data from the State Customs Service, throughout 2024, Ukraine imported 14,700 tons of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat, which is a 40% decrease compared to the previous year.

The cost of these imports were $18.3 million, which is 35.6% less than in 2023.

The largest suppliers of lard, pork fat, and poultry fat to Ukraine in 2024 were Poland (48.4%), Spain (17.1%), and Germany (14.1%).
