Poultry meat export to the EU: how quotas will be distributed in 2025

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the mechanism for distributing the quota for poultry meat export to the European Union for 2025.

The annex to the document indicates that the quota for the export of poultry meat (chickens, ducks, geese, guinea fowl) is indicated at 55,54 thousand tons, turkey meat - 1,57 thousand tons.

The volume of quotas approved for the product "Meat and edible offal of poultry: domestic chickens (Gallus domesticus), ducks, geese, guinea fowls" with the exception of the reserve volume of the quota (1165 tons) and for the product "Turkey meat and edible offal of turkeys" is distributed by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy among exporters in proportion to the actual volumes of exports of the specified products to the Member States of the European Union for 10 months of 2024 (January - October 2024).

The reserve volume of the quota (1165 tons) is distributed among exporters who did not export the specified products for 10 months of 2024. Provided that there is an unused balance of the quota volume as of April 1, 2025, it is distributed among exporters in proportion to the actual volumes of products supplied to EU Member States in the first quarter of 2025.
