Bilberries are the leading export from Ukraine to the fresh market. The volume of berry supplies has increased, although the price has fallen slightly.

Many plantations in the country have already reached their industrial capacity, but the demand for this berry in the world is still increasing, so there is a place for Ukrainian bilberries on the international market.

Now bilberry producers in Ukraine are independently making effective supply chains to the final European consumer. Demand for the berry has increased in Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands and other countries.

In general, last season, less than 30% of bilberries were exported to Poland, 24% to the Netherlands, 12% to Great Britain, 12% to Germany, 8% to Spain, and there were also large shipments to Moldova, where the berry was almost never supplied before.
