The trade turnover of Ukraine in January-September of this year was 73,7 billion USD, imports – 46,6 billion USD, exports – 27,1 billion USD.
The taxed imports amounted to 38,3 billion USD, which is 82% of the total volume of imported goods.
The following categories accounted for 65% of the total volume of goods imported in January-September 2023:
- machines, equipment and transport – 14,1 billion USD, during the customs clearance of the specified goods, 100,6 billion UAH was paid to the budget, which is 31% of the receipts of customs payments;
- products of the chemical industry – 8,4 billion USD, during the customs clearance of the specified goods, 57,2 billion UAH was paid to the budget, which is 17% of the receipts of customs payments;
- fuel and energy goods – 7,9 billion USD, during the customs clearance of the specified goods, 68,0 billion UAH was paid to the budget, which is 21% of the receipts of customs payments.
Three mostly exported goods from Ukraine were:
- food products – 16,1 billion USD;
- metals and products made of them – 3 billion USD;
- machines, equipment and transport – 2,3 billion USD.
The countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine: China – 7,4 billion USD, Poland – 4,9 billion USD, and Turkey – 3,7 billion USD.
Ukraine exported the most to Poland – 3,7 billion USD, Romania – 3 billion USD, Turkey – 1,9 billion USD.
