The competent authorities of Ukraine and Northern Macedonia have agreed on a form of certificate for the export of wet and dry pet food from Ukraine. The approval of the certificate was the result of work carried out by diplomats of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and specialists of the State Food and Consumer Service together with colleagues from Northern Macedonia.
«The Ministry of foreign affairs of Ukraine understands that due to the tense security situation, it is especially important to support Ukrainian exporters, whom it harms. Therefore, we are working hardly together with colleagues from the State Food and Consumer Service to expand the product line of Ukrainian exports, remove any barriers to Ukrainian goods. Creating new opportunities in foreign markets also strengthens the economy of our country and increases revenues to the state budget», - said Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
«Ukraine works closely with Northern Macedonia from many product lines. Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainian producers of pet food have received new opportunities for trade with this country», - said Vladyslava Magaletska, Head of the State Food and Consumer Service.
Earlier, the two countries agreed on certificates for the export of animal forage, poultry meat, meat products, dairy products, eggs and egg products from Ukraine to Northern Macedonia.
For reference: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the State Food and Consumer Service are working together to open new markets for Ukrainian export, providing support to producers and removing technical barriers to trade, as well as providing state guarantees for compliance with partner countries.
