In January–May 2025, Ukraine exported 9.6 thousand tons of dairy whey, a 17.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. 

However, in monetary terms, exports increased by 16% compared to the first five months of 2024, reaching $7.3 million. The most active buyers of Ukrainian dairy whey during these five months were Poland (32.3%), China (24%) and Jordan (11.5%).

Watermelons from Turkey, Greece, and Azerbaijan dominate the shelves of Ukrainian stores in 2025. Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 7,260.38 tons of watermelons have been imported into Ukraine’s customs territory.

The American market continues to lead in the structure of Ukrainian processed crude iron exports: in the first half of 2025, over 77% of the foreign exchange revenue from the sale of this product came from the USA. In January–June 2025, Ukraine increased crude iron export volumes by 47.5% in physical terms, reaching 883.2 thousand tons compared to 598.9 thousand tons in the same period of the previous year. In monetary terms, exports increased by 54.6%, reaching $349.4 million.

In January–June 2025, Ukraine exported 64.8 thousand tons of eggs, a 96% increase compared to the same period last year. 

In monetary terms, egg exports in the first half of this year brought in 2.6 times more than in the same period of 2024, reaching $87.5 million. 

The main buyers of Ukrainian eggs in the first half of 2025 were Croatia (14%), the United Kingdom (12.9%) and Spain (10.9%).

According to the results of the 2024/2025 marketing year (MY), Moldova became the largest importer of Ukrainian flour, purchasing 23.5 thousand tons.

Ukraine has sent most of this product to Türkiye  (15.6%), Pakistan (11.2%) and Malaysia (10.8%). During 2024, the export of 411.4 thousand tons of dried leguminous vegetables brought to Ukraine $139.5 million.
