In January-April 2024, JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" transported 30,4 million tons of cargo in the export connection, which is 48,8% more than in the same period last year.

This is a record amount of cargoes for export since the time of the full-scale invasion.

Among the cargoes exported by railway in 2024, the largest amount was grain - 12,9 million tons and iron and manganese ore - 12,5 million tons.  Besides, among the main export cargoes, ferrous metals - 1,6 million tons and construction materials - 867 thousand tons.

Increasing the volume of cargoes’ transportation, in particular exports, remains among the company's priorities for 2024.

In total, 59,9 million tons of cargoes were transported by railway in January-April 2024, which is 28,7% more than in the same period last year.
