UZ continues to seek new logistical solutions to increase freight transportation volumes amid their decline and revenue reduction. One such step was the resumption of the transit route Turkey – Ukraine – Poland.
The company emphasized that the first container train successfully passed through Ukrainian territory and was handed over to the Polish LHS network. UZ Cargo Poland and the Liske Transport Service Center provided the railway part of the transportation – from forming the container train to coordinating technical and logistical procedures with Polish partners. Thanks to effective coordination between the teams, the transit was completed within the planned timeframe.
The next container train in this direction is scheduled for the second decade of November 2025.
