Despite the war, Ukrainian business took advantage of this opportunity and significantly increased the dynamics of obtaining the status of Authorized Economic Operator (AEO). Thus, for 3 years and 7 months of operation of the AEO program (as of the beginning of March 2024), 31 AEO authorizations have been received.

The growth of the number of Ukrainian companies that received the status of AEO has a dynamic similar to that of most EU countries in the first years of the implementation of the program, and in some places it exceeds it.

The presence of AEO status gives the enterprise the possibility of priority and faster access to the simplifications provided by both the Customs Code of Ukraine and the Convention on the common transit procedure.
