Ukrainian turnover for January-April 2024 was 35,3 mln US dollars. During January-April 2024, Ukraine imported goods in the amount of 21,9 billion US dollars, and exported goods in the amount of 13,4 billion US dollars. Taxed imports amounted to 19,0 billion US dollars or 87% of the total volume of imported goods. The tax burden on 1 kg of taxed imports in January-April 2024 was 0,50/kg US dollars, which is 9% more than in the same period of 2023.

The countries from which the most goods were imported to Ukraine: China - 4,2 billion US dollars, Poland - 2,3 billion US dollars, and Germany - 1,8 billion US dollars. Ukraine exported the most to Poland - 1,3 billion US dollars, China - 1,2 billion US dollars, Spain - 1,1 billion US dollars. 

In the total volume of goods imported in January-April 2024, the following categories of goods accounted for 65%: machinery, equipment and transport – 7.4 billion US dollars, products of the chemical industry – 4,2 billion US dollars, fuel and energy - 2,7 billion US dollars. 

The 3 most exported goods from Ukraine included: food products - 8,6 billion US dollars, metals and their products - 1,4 billion US dollars, and mineral products - 1,2 billion US dollars.

During the 4 months of 2024, 111,7 million UAH were paid to the budget during the customs clearance of the export of goods subject to an export duty.
