Ukraine’s exports of grain and legumes increased by a quarter

According to the information-analytical web portal “AIC of Ukraine” (Agro-Industrial Complex of Ukraine) from the beginning of 2019/2020 marketing year (hereinafter – MY) to March 11, 2020, Ukraine has exported 42,32 million tons of grain and legumes and this is 24,5% more in comparison with the same period of the previous MY. This information was prepared on the basis of data provided by the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine. 

From the beginning of 2019/2020 MY (from July 1, 2019) to March 11, 2020, Ukraine has exported 42,32 million tons of grain and legumes and this is 24,5% more as of the same date of 2018/2019 MY. This number incudes 16,83 million tons of wheat (this is 31,7% more than wheat exported in the previous year), 4,07 million tons of barley (23,8% more) and 21 million tons of corn (20,9% more).

Flour exports during the above mentioned period increased by 42,4% and amounted to 261,6 thousand tons.
