In 2026, the first two markets for exporting meat products to Côte d’Ivoire have been officially opened.
This concerns the approval of two veterinary certificate forms: one for the export of fresh, frozen or processed beef and lamb, as well as products derived from them; and another for poultry meat and poultry products intended for human consumption.
Exports of meat products to Côte d’Ivoire will be carried out subject to compliance with established requirements. In particular, exporters must be registered in Côte d’Ivoire and obtain authorization from the country’s Ministry of Animal and Fisheries Resources. Each shipment must also be accompanied by an import permit issued prior to dispatch.
