Ukraine set a record for apple export

From July 2023 to March 2024, Ukraine has exported, according to the preliminary data, more than 37 thousand tons of apples. This is almost as much as Ukraine exported on average over the previous 5 full seasons.

This year, similar trends may be recorded a little earlier, because the supply of apples reduced compared to the last year due to a number of reasons (active export, reduced production, smaller stocks of apples in the EU, high prices for concentrate, etc.). The main drop in apple prices can be expected only with the beginning of the 2024/25 apple season, i.e. in August or even September.
