According to information from the European Union and the World Organisation for Animal Health, Ukraine has banned the import of animals susceptible to the bluetongue virus and their genetic material from Hungary.

Additionally, on July 23, Ukraine banned the import of animals susceptible to the bluetongue virus and their genetic material from Belgium due to reported cases of the disease. A similar ban was introduced for Morocco on August 20.
