Ukraine remains one of the leading suppliers of honey to the EU but in 2022 the first position in the rating (by volume) belongs to China. The general volumes of honey imports by the EU countries in physical terms have increased by almost 10%, up to 190,6 thousand tons (504, 2 million EUR).

The EU countries have increased the import volumes from China by 42%, Argentina by 35%, as well as from Turkey and Vietnam.

At the same time imports from Ukraine by these countries by volume have decreased by 14%. The main buyers of Ukrainian honey among European countries still remain: Poland and Germany.
