According to the results of February 2026, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises reduced exports of steel semi-finished products by 49.5% compared to the previous month – to 61.63 thousand tons. In annual terms, the decline amounted to 48.7%.

The main export destinations remain Bulgaria – 38.98 thousand tons (-31.2% y/y; -31% m/m), and Poland – 6.39 thousand tons. Turkey and Egypt did not import semi-finished products from Ukraine during the month.

For January-February, Ukraine reduced exports of semi-finished products by 8.5% compared to the same period – to 183.62 thousand tons. In the direction of Bulgaria, 95.46 thousand tons were sent (+18.7% y/y), Turkey – 49.22 thousand tons (-2.6% y/y), Poland – 6.39 thousand tons (0 thousand tons in January-February 2025).

Export revenue for 2 months decreased by 7.2% y/y – to $86.05 million, in February – by 46.4% m/m and 46.3% y/y, to $30.03 million.
