In May 2026, 5.2 million tons of agricultural products were exported, which is 8.6% less than the figure of the previous month.

The reduction in shipment volumes is traditional for the end of the marketing year, but the country still has significant stocks of products for export, primarily grain. In May, a decline in volumes was recorded in all product categories, except for oilseeds.

Last month, 3.6 million tons of grain crops were exported (corn – 65%, wheat – 34% and barley – 1%), which is 12% less than in April.

At the same time, supplies of oilseeds increased by 65% – to 323.9 thousand tons (soybeans – 60%, rapeseed – 38% and sunflower – 1%).

Vegetable oils were exported 8% less than in April – 463.4 thousand tons (sunflower oil – 85%, soybean – 9% and rapeseed – 6%).

In May, the export of meal after extraction of vegetable oils decreased by 17% – to 417.2 thousand tons (sunflower – 67%, soybean – 33%).
