The Ukrinform reports that the press-service of the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection has informed that the expanding of the geography of products exports, Ukraine’s joining the HUB system, imports of the food and dietary additives, fight against products counterfeiting - are the priority areas of cooperation between the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
“The State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection will do its best for solving the priority tasks, which have been discussed with the Chamber, development of the international cooperation and creation of the favorable business climate in Ukraine”, - the Head of the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection, Vladyslava Mahaletska has emphasized.
She has also highlighted that the constant communication and the dialogue will allow the Service to serve the business better.
It has also been added that during the last 6 months the members of the Committees of the American Chamber of Commerce for the agro-industrial complex, seed production, food industry, consumer goods, retail and e-commerce, telecommunications has many times addressed the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection with the problematic issues they have faced.
The President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, Andrii Hunder has highly evaluated the professional approach and the meaningful feedback on a number of issues and, in particular, ways to solve them. He thinks that the mutual development of effective regulatory mechanisms within the framework of the working groups will help support the companies and help improve the conditions for doing business.
As it has previously been informed by the Ukrinform, according to the data provided by the State Service of Food Safety and Consumer Protection, in the previous year 12 new markets were opened for Ukraine, 35 exports certificates were approved and 2 EU audits have been conducted - in the sphere of the system of assessment of state control over the production of fish and fish products, as well as poultry meat and products made of it.
