Ukraine has increased import by 16,5% to 57,3 billion US dollars in the 11 months of 2023

For January–November 2023, export of goods amounted to 32,978 billion US dollars, or 81,1% compared to January–November 2022, import – 57,329 billion US dollars, or 116,5%. The negative balance is 24,351 billion US dollars (for January-November 2022, it is also negative - 8,5695 billion US dollars). The export/import coverage ratio was 0,58 (0,83 for January–November 2022). Foreign trade operations were conducted with partners from 228 countries of the world.

The commodity structure of export was dominated by: grain crops 22,6%, fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin 15,4%, base metals and their products 11,0%.

Import: machines, equipment and mechanisms; electrical equipment 17,7%, mineral fuels; oil and products of its distillation 16,7%, means of aboveground transport, except railway 11,0%.

In November 2023, compared to October 2023, seasonally adjusted export increased by 3,1%, import reduced by 9,5%. Seasonally adjusted balance of foreign trade in November 2023 was negative and amounted to 2,165 billion US dollars. In October 2023 it was also negative - 2,741 billion US dollars.
